‘‘The world needs this brand of yoga. Which is softness and allowing ourselves to be exactly where we are, and exactly who we are.

What I love about Erica is that there’s always just enough and nothing more. She has this gift for simplicity and minimalism that is so special.’’

lauren Rudick, lead teacher and founder of Yoga Academy International

Erica’s View on Yoga

Erica Hjertqvist knows from first-hand experience how yoga can help through both physical impairments and emotional imbalances. Yoga has supported her through emotional distress, heavy periods of anxiety and physical restraints after a slipped disc.

This has given her a deeper connection to her body and mind, understanding it’s restraints and possibilities. An understanding she also brings into her teaching. She can not enough stress the importance of connecting body and mind, and letting go of the ego, in order for her students to commit to a safe practice.

Her style is soft but also assertive, and with a calming presence. Just like she is!’’
